The 49th Pirkka Cycling event takes place from Friday to Sunday 12.–14.6.2026
“On the road again”

More information about registration>>>
Pirkan Pyöräily will again be organized in 2026 one week before Midsummer, on 12.–14.6.2026.
The goal was to hold the event already a week earlier, but unfortunately a much larger event than ours had reserved the entire exhibition center for that time.
The main distances, the 210 km Long Pirkka and the 134 km Classic, will be ridden on the same routes as in summer 2025, heading toward the beautiful landscapes of Southern Pirkanmaa. Hiekka Pirkka follows its own paths in the same general region.
As returning routes for summer 2026, the program will also include Night Cycling during the night of Fri–Sat 12.–13.6., the Lilliput Family Cycling for the youngest members of the family on Saturday 13.6. and Adapted Cycling on 14.6.
The well-proven Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre will serve as the event center as well as the start and finish location for Pirkan Pyöräily.
Registration is now open!
Advance registration is open until 31.5.2026. Late registration will take place at the event venue during the event weekend.
Pirkan Pyöräily has been organized since 1978. The participation record was set in 1982, when nearly 4 000 cyclists took part. Today, the number of participants has stabilized at around three thousand. In 2016, a 21st-century record was reached when as many as 3 678 cyclists finished.
The event is organized by Hämeen Liikunta ja Urheilu ry (HLU).
Welcome once again to ride through the Finnish summer in the naturally beautiful landscapes of Häme!
